The current state of some types of pastures in Karakalpak Ustyurt (Uzbekistan)

A modern classification of pastures in Karakalpak Ustyurt has been developed, which combines 7 pasture types (Anabasis salsa, Salsola arbusculiformis-Anabasis Artemisia terrae-albae-Anabasis Haloxylon ammodendron, Tamarix hispida-T. elongata, Kalidium caspicum, Halocnemum strobilaceum), 2 classes (pastures stratal plains on gray-brown soils and drainless depressions solonchaks) 42 varieties, a brief description is given to the studied 5 pastures. Their productivity determined it recommended use them as autumn-winter
